E-Commerce and B2B Project for German FMCG Wholesaler

The Peanutbuttershop and US-Lifestyle, a leading wholesaler and importer of international sweets, snacks, and soft drinks, that required a complete overhaul of its eCommerce platforms for two of its key brands, Peanutbuttershop.de and USLifestyle.de. The objective was to migrate both webshops from Shopware 5 to Shopware 6 and establish a dedicated B2B webshop for Peanutbuttershop.de. The Challenge

The client “Die glorreichen 6 GmbH” required a future-proof solution that not only updated their existing eCommerce platforms but also optimized their business operations. This involved:

  • Migrating Peanutbuttershop.de and USLifestyle.de from Shopware 5 to Shopware 6.
  • Creating a dedicated B2B webshop for Peanutbuttershop.de, with access restricted to business customers.
  • Seamlessly integrating all three sales channels with Xentral Business Software, ensuring smooth operations from order management to warehousing, fulfillment, and invoicing.
  • Implementing a robust system for managing perishable inventory, with “best before date” management as a key feature.
  • Designing modern, user-friendly websites that cater to both retail and wholesale customers.

The goal was to ensure that the revamped webshops and B2B portal would enhance the client’s ability to meet customer demands, while also providing better tools for operational efficiency and growth.
